Meet Gabriella, known professionally and personally as Gabi, a dedicated third-generation arborist whose roots in the profession run deep. Surrounded by arboriculture from an early age, she was raised in an environment where careful observation, sound practices, and respect for trees were everyday lessons. That upbringing shaped both her professional values and her personal connection to the landscape. Today, Gabi carries this legacy forward not only through her work, but also as the mother of a fourth-generation arborist, intentionally nurturing curiosity, responsibility, and a lasting appreciation for trees and stewardship from the very beginning.
Gabi’s favorite tree is the American sycamore. She is drawn to its exfoliating bark and expansive canopy, as well as its distinctive leaves, whose bold form and seasonal presence reflect her appreciation for both resilience and the quieter details that define a tree’s character. Gabi is also the creator and author of our blog, Liriope’s Muse, a title inspired by her middle name. Through this educational platform, she blends arboriculture, reflection, and observation, inviting customers, colleagues, and all who care about trees to slow down, engage thoughtfully, and reconnect with trees as living partners in healthy, resilient landscapes.
