About us

"More than a name, a culture."

At Eric Putnam BCMA, we help homeowners make confident decisions about their trees, without fear, guesswork, or sales pressure. We are a family company, and tree care is not just what we do, it’s what we’ve grown up doing. We proudly serve homeowners throughout the Greater Houston area and surrounding communities.

Our approach is simple. We recommend what’s truly necessary and right for the long-term health and safety of your trees, and nothing more. Sometimes that means pruning. Sometimes that means treatment. Sometimes it means we tell you, “You’re good,” and there’s nothing to do. We do not believe in unnecessary work, and we do not treat removals like a default option. If a tree can be preserved safely and responsibly, we will show you how.

We are mentored by ISA Board Certified Master Arborist Eric Putnam. We’re committed to staying on top of modern tree science and sharing that knowledge with homeowners, so you understand what’s happening, what your options are, and why it matters.

You will also see that same “teach, not preach” mindset in Liriope’s Muse, our blog where we share practical tips and explain tree care in plain language. We write to educate, challenge common myths, and help people connect more deeply with the living world around them.

If you want a team that takes tree health seriously, avoids gimmicks, and treats your property with care, you’re in the right place. Book an appointment for an arborist visit, or request a free estimate for specific work
